On April 7, 2026 I was driving my daughter to school when my 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Frunk (Front Trunk) opening while driving. This renders the EV completely inoperable and disables the vehicle. I pulled over and contacted Road Side assistance and had my vehicle towed to Cadillac of Beverly Hills. It was repaired over the course of 3 days and I was assured it was fixed. The Cadillac Escalade IQL has a blind spot on the passenger side of the vehicle that is the worse I’ve ever experienced. The side mirror is set to view the vehicle on the side but even at the optimal safety settings I can’t see a car to my right unless I can see them out my passenger window or the turn signal camera is on.
